How much does it cost to attend the BraYnconference and what is included in the registration?
Attendance to the BraYn conference costs €50+vat. This fee includes:
-Support and guidance during the three days of the congress
-tea and coffee and participation in the social dinner
-participation in the practical workshops offered during the conference
-the opportunity to present your work in plenary sessions or during the poster sessions.
Awards will be given out at the end of the conference.
I am a neuroscientist above 40 years of age; can I participate in the conference?
Yes: BraYn aims to give priority to young neuroscientists, but we understand that the contribution of senior scientists is also critical, so participation is not restricted to any age group.
Is it possible to attend the BraYn conference without submitting an abstract?
Yes, it is possible to attend BraYn congress without any scientific contribution. However, we strongly encourage people to submit an abstract, as they canbe selected to give a talk or to present a poster, achieving visibility for their works. Moreover, at BraYn we will give awards forthe best oral and poster presentations.
Finally,prizes for the winning abstracts include participation to specific practical courses offered by the sponsors.
How will the scientific contributions be evaluated?
The scientific committee will select the best abstracts for oral presentation, based on criteria such as originality, clinical translationand overall quality of the abstract.
A limited number of works will also be selected for poster presentation.
Can I submit my work only for a poster presentation?
Yes, but you must specify it during the abstract submission process, and you will not be considered for oral presentation.
How will I know if my contribution has been selected for oral/poster presentation?
We will contact you by email in the event that your work has been selected and we will inform you of the guidelines for presenting your work.

You can register in advance on the conference website (hyperlink here). Please note that the sponsored practical workshops will host a limited number of people, so we encourage you to registeras soon as possible if you are interested in aspecific workshop.
I am a neuroscientist working abroad; is it possible to attend the conference?
Yes. BraYn conference has a significant international background,and participation is not restricted to Italian scientists.
