Travel Grant 2024
SOON AVAILABLE
From May 13th to June 7th
The application is now closed
Travel grants are accessible to young, qualified researchers without financial support, who wish to attend the installment of the BraYn Conference, taking place in Verona, Italy, from October 9th to 11th, 2024. Provided by the BraYn Association, this financial assistance can reach up to € 200 (based on receipts) and is intended to cover travel expenses and accommodation. Additionally, recipients of the BraYn Travel Grant will be exempt from paying the conference registration fee.
The submission of your application does not replace the requirement for conference registration. It’s crucial for applicants to separately register for the conference here.
Additionally, registration fee payment should be postponed until the evaluation of your application is finalized. If your application receives a positive evaluation, you will be exempt from the registration fee. Conversely, if your application is unsuccessful, you will need to proceed with the payment of the registration fees.
Eligibility:
- Research fellows, PhD students and postdocs lacking financial support from their respective institutions or any external sources;
- The applicant must be a member of the BraYn Association (Member’s Registration here);
- The applicant must attend the BraYn Conference (Conference Registration here);
- The applicant is required to have submitted a first-author abstract, either for a poster or an oral presentation.
The application must contain the following documents:
- short cover/motivation letter with contact data (address, email, affiliation);
- 1 page CV;
- list of publications (if applicable);
- copy of the abstract submitted;
- one short letter of recommendation.
Applications lacking any required documents or those arriving after the deadline will not be eligible for consideration in the selection process. All applications must be submitted via email to postmaster@braynassociation.com. The deadline for submission is June 7th, 2024, at 11:59 pm (CET), and no extensions will be granted. The Executive Board of the BraYn Association will review the applications, and successful applicants will be notified within 4-8 days following the deadline.
